Director Pre-Sales ETS Intel Plano

Job Description
The Pre-Sales ETS Director role in North America reports to the VP of Pre-Sales for North America and partners with the theater Sales VPs as well as the Pre-Sales MGMT team. This Director role is directly responsible for supporting the sales Organization by managing teams of technology specialists focused on delivering high impact engagements with key customers around our most critical technologies. The ETS Director will support the larger Pre-Sales teams in delivering highly specialized support for our Pre-Sales engineers, as well as key Sales Account Managers in our largest accounts. The ETS Director will drive operational excellence throughout the shared services team and provide personal development within the Pre-Sales organization.
The ETS Pre-Sales Director will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and inspiration to the ETS Pre-Sales Organization, leading by example and driving a culture of personal leadership, ownership and initiative.

This Director will continue to build the North America ETS Pre-Sales Organization through the attraction and retention of talented Pre-Sales professionals while finding the right balance between technical excellence, business acumen and soft skills that align to the Intel Security strategy.
The Director will ensure that the Pre-Sales Organization continues to develop robust processes to deliver productive, disciplined and effective ways of doing business, as well as delivering against enablement objectives for the larger Pre-Sales organization. They will ensure that Pre-Sales resources are effectively organized, trained and are aligned to maximize incremental revenue growth and customer satisfaction throughout North America. The ETS Director will have strong personal engagement with customers and Pre-Sales MGMT to enhance our opportunities to close business, maintaining an executive presence throughout.
All Intel Security leaders are expected to have strong communication skills, and the Director of the ETS Pre-Sales team will be a key presenter/participant in Executive Briefings and will be able to communicate our value proposition to a broad range of customer stakeholders at CxO level.
Finally, this Director will act as a facilitator of collaboration across internal stakeholders including Sales, Product Management and others to ensure that key initiatives and synergies are leveraged, while working very closely with the Regional Sales Organization in terms of programs and plans.

The Person
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience of managing and leading a large Pre-Sales Organization in a relevant sector (experience of the security industry is an advantage but not a requirement). They will have the demonstrated ability of attracting, developing and retaining high performance technical teams. The candidate selected will have demonstrated success in driving incremental revenue, customer satisfaction and retention by proactive Pre-Sales programs and enablement initiatives.
The final candidate is both self-motivated and passionate about technology and people. They will have demonstrated personal experience in complex consultative solution selling, with the ability to develop others in this regard .They will have the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment with a proven track record in influencing key stakeholders to ensure success. They will have excellent communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver strong and compelling value propositions to customers (CxO level), partners and internal groups.
This individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills. They will also have strong organizational skills and process orientation with proven experience leading Pre-Sales teams.

Educational Requirements

Ideally degree qualified with MBA or equivalent business experience being an advantage.
