Director Marketing Sandoz Princeton

Job Description
Responsible for leading & managing marketing strategies for the entire PharmaDerm portfolio to meet the financial and corporate financial objectives.
Assesses product and customer performance for all customer segments and identifies opportunities to alter/develop market / customer strategies to optimize market approach and managed markets strategies for the organization. Analytical assessment to develop models and report insightful metrics to relevant groups contributing to managed markets strategy decisions.

Key leadership responsibilities
- Ethically achieve the financial objectives for the PharmaDerm brands
- Develop In-line brand access strategies and tactics development
- Clear business cases and rationale
- Execution of key tactics, e.g., Co-pay cards,
- Manage within budget
- Manage Promotion Review Committee
- Ensure alignment between marketing, access and sales on all strategies and tactics
- Analysis of key market and vendor related data for the development of models and recommendations of contractual agreements for product access and reimbursement.
- Understand key trends impacting Specialty and Retail markets and organized customers. Collaborate with Managed Markets Strategy, Sales and Marketing to identify market and customer scenarios expected to have a high impact on business.
- Integrate relevant data to support and develop analytical models to help make business critical decisions.
- Develop business cases with concise and complete story-lines to communicate and secure buy-in on recommendations.
- Data mining for identification of areas of opportunity to execute and maximize market access.
- Develop & execute specialty and retail pharmacy marketing strategies and tactics for promoted and non-promoted brands.
- Provide key input into access strategy development associated with optimizing access and reimbursement for the PharmaDerm product portfolio.
- Provide input and feedback regarding contracting strategies, and ensures the team meets all contracting governance requirements.
- Identify and track market trends watching closely for competitive landscape changes.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas to support brand needs.
- Analyze market and competitive trends, in particular, as they may affect our new products for access.



Education:

Bachelor Degree required, MBA Preferred

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience (i.e. product management, strategic planning and market analytics) required

• Previous experience of at least 5 years in Product Management is required with experience working in Access and Specialty pharmacy solutions

• Extensive background working on various tactical promotional aspects of a brand

• Being the lead on a brand is preferred

• Dermatology marketing experience preferred, but not required

• Management experience preferred, but not required

• Candidate must have experience in planning, presenting and implementing plans

• A thorough understanding of the marketing process with proven ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns

• Clear understanding of market research process, methods and tools for decision making

• Proven analytical & problem-solving skills

• Strong capability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and ambiguous business situations
