Director Business Development Cybersecurity Honeywell Columbia

Job Description
The Director, Business Development for the Washington DC National Capital Region market will provide Sales and Capture support for the Cybersecurity business segment within Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. (HTSI) primarily focusing on Army and Air Force customers as well as Department of Homeland Security cyber opportunities.

Principal Responsibilities Will Be
Engaging closely with the National Capital Region Customers and Industry with a focus on the Cyber Security Market to build a solid actionable strategic and tactical pipeline. Experience with the Cyber Security Market in the NCR is key with familiarity with DoD cyber customers and contracts a plus.
Establishing and executing a robust customer management plan
Leading and Executing Capture on the Tactical Opportunities to recognize revenue.

The position will work in the HTSI Business Development organization, reporting to the Director, Business Development, Security Solutions & Intel.

Work location will be Columbia MD.

Specific Responsibilities Will Include The Following
Networking with government and industry leaders and building relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities. Takes on role as leading expert on customer set in this business area.
Identification and vetting opportunities for the Cyber Security market. This vetting includes emphasis areas such as: customer buying habits, customer landscape, customer contact plan, incumbent strengths/weaknesses (if applicable), competitive landscape, and assessment of PWIN against HTSI strengths.
Influencing request for proposal (RFP) requirements, developing prime/subcontractor options and teaming strategies, developing value propositions and win themes, and creating pricing strategies. Requires frequent interaction with other members of the BD team, to include but not limited to Strategy and Business Intelligence, and functional areas such as operations, contracts, pricing, human resources, legal, and safety. Leads the entire capture process, including reviews with executive leadership and various tollgate presentations. Responsibility ends at contract award.
Coordinates and supports build-up of HTSI annual strategic plan.

Qualifications

Master's degree in business administration or related field plus 6 years experience, or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field plus 8 years experience.




Additional Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance; TS/SCI clearance is preferred
