Director Authentication Honeywell Morris Plains

Job Description
The Director, Customer Marketing Authentication Technologies (AT) is responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the customer marketing related activities for the Authentication Technologies business in the Fine Chemicals HOS Gold Enterprise. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing managers, field marketing managers, product management, manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, R&D, key business partners and senior management teams to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the Authentication Technologies Business which compises chemicals and detector applications. This leader will own the link between strategic/product marketing and sales force/customer. The Customer Marketing organization will drive growth with the sales organization by providing compelling value propositions and advancing the sales and new opportunity pipeline.

Specifically, The Role Will Own And Lead
Strategy & Planning
Understand the needs of the market, to guide purposeful business execution and Evolution.
Develop and drive the strategy development and implementation to meet market needs including: identifying new technology platforms license/acquire to drive growth, developing long term currency pipelines and inorganic growth plans.
Integrate inputs to develop implementation strategies and product plans with customers. In particular, work with sales on account plans that ensure strategies and product plans are implemented, that our messaging is compelling, and that results in new customer orders.
Support M&A process by providing market intelligence and due diligence on potential targets
Program & Project Management
Drive long term contract negotiations of key currency programs with legal, marketing and sales team as well as the local Honeywell commercial Team.
Work with customers/partners to develop and agree on joint program milestones, timing and deliverables
Strategize with customers/partners to remove project barriers, and to develop and act on alternative solutions to deliver on milestones.
Staff projects appropriately and manage teams to deliver on customer milestones and deliverables.
Ensure security protocols are adhered to; work with IT, legal and Honeywell security to implement appropriate security processes as part of AT's management operating system.
Value Management/Value Pricing
Understand the needs of the market, to guide purposeful business execution and Evolution.
Work with strategic/product management to design VOC discussions. Understand segmentation; value elements critical to customers; value equations; target value propositions to customer segments to inform customer marketing and account plans.
Deal with complex value pricing issues in a dynamic competitive environment and apply value toolkit to tough value pricing situations.
Implement new value-based pricing strategies with positive results in the market.
Drives strong financial results from customer marketing
People Management
Hire, assess, develop and grow AT marketing organization and capabilities globally.
Develop trusting relationships with external partners, key central bank and security customers across multiple cultures.
Use management operating system to drive results.
Marketing Communications
Consistently work with Marcom to effectively promote and advertise brands via the sales force collateral as well as account planning
Contribute to the creation and building of brands; enable the sales force to build brand equity and channel strength

Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in an analytical or technical discipline (e.g. economics, math, engineering, chemistry, physics).
Five plus years experience driving strategic marketing and growth initiatives in a leadership role
10 plus years experience in leading strategic planning, new business development, product and customer marketing activities in a functional organization
10 plus years experience developing and leading new product development programs, from inception through launch.
Proven ability to build and maintain long term business relationships
Must be U.S. citizen due to security clearance
Additional Qualifications:
MBA or other Master's degree
Program mgmt experience in electronics, scanner and/or detector applications.
10 years experience driving strategic marketing and growth initiatives in a leadership role
International product development and launch experience is also highly desirable. Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm is also a plus.
Experience in document or product authentication and or experience working with large global central banks a plus
