Join the Consumer Insights Team and lead the RTD Coffee Insights for North America Beverages, in partnership with Starbucks. An instrumental member of integrated cross-functional teams, this Insights Director will act as a strategic business partner, passionately advocating for the consumer to ensure both short and long term business outcomes for the RTD Coffee portfolio. In partnership with PepsiCo and Starbucks, this role will drive consumer insights by anticipating / shaping key business questions, designing the learning agenda, and impacting business decisions across innovation, communication, and commercialization.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategy Development: Partner in developing business objectives and strategies by providing guidance to key stakeholders and senior management in identifying sustainable opportunities. Present learning and insights across levels as a basis for strategic decision-making.
Opportunity Identification: Develop and apply actionable frameworks for identifying growth opportunities and assessing in-market potential: category assessments, need states, consumer segmentation, market structure, monitoring changes in consumer behavior/attitudes, competitive product quality, and global/category drivers of growth and loss.
Ideation & Optimization: Inform initiatives with a deep intuitive understanding of target consumer groups, their emerging needs, and drivers of choice. Develop and refine research plans to ensure unparalleled consumer relevance and in-market differentiation. Leverage cross-PEP insights including shopper, consumer, and retailer to maximize advantage.
Project Management: Develop and manage research budgets, monitor research spending ensuring resources are allocated against priority initiatives and maintaining a high ROI on research investment.

Coaching and Mentoring Skills: Must have the ability to bring out the best from Insights staff and provide appropriate guidance to raise the bar on contribution to the company.
Business Problem Analysis and Project Management Skills: Works with business partners to identify central business questions and works independently to arrive at the optimal approach. Exhibits a critical eye to ensure that the learning plan provides incremental learning and actionable insights.
Analytic Acumen: Solid experience with advanced quantitative methodologies plus scanner and panel based analysis; ability to assess disparate data sets and distill them into meaningful strategic recommendations.
Minimum Job Requirements:
8+ years of relevant consumer insights experience; 4+ years preferred with a consumer packaged goods company
Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred
Well-versed in research methodologies and possess the ability to apply insights to address business challenges.
