Job description
We are looking for a highly effective Group Account Director to join our team. This person supports the achievement of a business objective by directing business development activities in their Operating Group. This individual has a multi-million dollar sales quota, ensures effective team performance with the proper alignment of sales support and delivery resources. The Client Executive has overall accountability for selling and managing the successful delivery of solutions to the client.
Additional Key Responsibilities
Delivery of multi-million in annual revenue, depending upon experience
Able to clearly articulate Acquity Group value proposition and Solution Offerings in client/new business presentations
Works with Inside Sales Representatives to develop and execute Top 25 account strategies
Drives business development discussions with client to create call to action; identifies and pursues new business opportunities based on situation presented by the client
Works with Solution Offering or Practice leads to structure/finalize project and proposal (approach, staffing, QA, fees, etc.)
Manages to highest levels of quality from sales process through delivery of solution
Manages project staffing independently or together with Engagement Managers if present on any given account
Manages customer invoicing, budgeting, profitability analysis processes as well as contact and opportunity management as needed
Serves as a point of escalation for both the project team and the client when needed
Conducts diligent management of accounts receivable process
Maintains utilization target of 10% across portfolio of active accounts and projects
Interacts and establishes long term relationships with the client at senior levels of the organization
Manages and "monetizes" local and/or regional relationships with business partner community
Participates in the overall leadership and growth of the company through contributions on client and non-client based initiative
Provides leadership and mentorship to Engagement Managers and Account Managers and associated team members
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology industry
Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services or digital agency
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of eCommerce or Web Content Management and Creative Services or Digital Strategy & Marketing
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a large professional services firm (agency or consulting), ideally as a delivery consultant and then in a business development capacity
Expert level knowledge of the marketplace and delivery of one or more Acquity Group core digital service areas (eCommerce, Web Content Management, Creative Services, Digital Strategy & Marketing)
Exceptional sales and solution delivery leadership abilities. This includes setting sales strategy, goal setting, pipeline management, quality management and performance management.
Existing relationships with client buyers in areas of strategic digital services, interactive creative services, and technical integration and implementation
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets established by leadership based on past portfolio performance
Proven ability to sell to executives in IT, operations, sales and marketing
Exceptionally strong leadership & communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multidisciplinary teams
Proven mentoring & coaching capabilities
Travel
% travel flexibility - more or less depending on project; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime as client commitment requires.
