Director Finance Honeywell Lincolnshire

Job Description
The Finance Leader for HA Americas will be responsible for the Honeywell Analytics Gas Detection business in the Americas consisting of ~$250M in annual revenue, the finance organization and finance processes and controls.

In addition, there will be significant project management and leadership responsibilities with this assignment. The HA Americas Finance leader will be a business partner for the HA General Manager and a crucial part of the overall HIS Americas and global HIS SBU finance structure, ACS controllership organization, the ISC function and other functions within the HA business.

Position Responsibilities

• Be Key Business Partner with Regional GM, Marketing and ISC Leaders to ensure sustainable business results; Identify and mitigate business risk and be conduit to drive cross functional collaboration across all functions in HAAM

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan and assist in the development of the STRAP

• Lead the development of financials forecasts. Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy. Identify major risks and opportunities to the forecast and work proactively

• In concert with the General Manager, act as a catalyst for the initiatives, programs, and activities necessary to achieve financial objectives of the business

• Provide strong leadership in identifying and driving working capital opportunities

• Play a central role in any M&A process, including aspects of financial analysis and due diligence

• Develop solid understanding of customers, products and overall business cycle

• Drive development of standard process to measure and track true returns on NPI initiatives to ensure that HAAM is investing properly

• Ensure accounting controls and compliance processes are adequately designed and operating effectively/efficiently. Ensure Corporate and ACS policy conformance.

• Maintain understanding of accounting and financial reporting rules and regulations promulgated by the FASB and other authoritative accounting bodies that impact HIS and ensure understood by relevant staff

• Support Corporate and ACS Tax Departments in evaluating and implementing tax strategy and compliance initiatives

• Special ad-hoc analysis as required

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6 years of experience in finance positions with increasing responsibility

Additional Qualifications

• CPA or MBA preferred.
• SAP and Hyperion knowledge preferred.
• Business controls awareness.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Greenbelt trained and certified (desired).
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel - spreadsheet analysis, Pivot tables, etc.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint (creating graphs/tables, embedding Excel graphs/tables in PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with Hyperion suite: (Hyperion Retrieve, Hyperion Financial Manager, etc).
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables.
• Time management and commitment to deadlines.
• Ability to apply intuition, experience and judgment to make sound business decisions
• Good people skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work well across cultures/geographies.
