Senior Project Marketing Manager - Annuities Writer - AIG - Los Angeles

Position Summary
As Sr. Writer/Annuities Marketing Manager will conceive, write and manage all marketing programs and related materials, delivered thru multi medias including print, digital, web, video, social media.

Performance Objectives
* Conceive and write marketing campaigns, sales ideas, fliers, postcards, websites, videos, radio ads and other materials and multi-media projects to support the launch, promotion and ongoing sale of AIG's variable annuity, index annuity, mutual fund and income solution products.

* Provide art direction and manage design team to help excute all projects.

* Write articles, newsletters, and white papers on retirement and investment topics, for audiences that include financial advisors, as well as individual investors.

* Understand annuity compliance environment and work with legal team.

* Follow projects through the development process from concept to completion, including proofing and signoff of design/bluelines, working closely with product marketing executives and the design staff.

* Serve as "project manager" on all initiatives including schedule management, compliance review, internal customers communications.

* Strong understanding of the annuity sales process and distributions channels.

* Proven experience in creating and delivering
programs and materials to highly productive sales organizations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Bachelor's Degree.

* 10 years experience in financial services communications and marketing.

* Experience in index & varable annuities and mutual funds.

* Top writing skills must be a core competency; samples will be requested.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.

* Web publishing skills a plus.
