Job Description
We are looking for an experienced software engineer who has led development of cloud based scalable software applications that were deployed in Software as a Service business model.

Responsibilities
• Establish a complete understanding of current demand side management software suite at Honeywell and associated roadmaps.
• Develop funded multi-generation product plans for all residential and commercial demand side management and smart grid software for utilities and ISOs.
• Staff for market growth in this area. This includes locating and on-boarding resources as well as making them productive in the established development environments as quickly as possible.


• Work directly with software developers in California, Massachusetts and around the world to evolve key software products and platforms.
• Develop a world-class global engineering team by actively managing their careers, training, and performance.
• Continuously interact with the business leaders to ensure engineering and marketing direction are tightly linked.
• Ensure that all production operations technical issues are rectified in a timely manner.
• Lead the architecture of large enterprise-class cloud based software system.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to develop and deliver customer driven solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems/software development
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using the latest technologies in cloud/ mobile computing and SaaS offerings
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
• Minimum of 5 years leading a global team including recruiting, people development and performance management

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Six Sigma/Lean training/certification.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful relationships with partners and customers.
• Global experience and mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be a self directed, mature, entrepreneurial individual.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix- team environment.
• A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
