Job description
Citigroup, Global Consumer Independent Risk Management, is seeking a Consumer Risk Policy Group Manager to assess, propose, determine and execute Global Consumer Bank strategy in the Existing Customer Management (ECM) functional area. ECM area includes CLI/CLD, Authorizations, Balcon/EPP/LOP/ALOP programs, x-sell programs, activation and reissue. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in Credit Initiation and/ or Existing Customer Management areas working with all Consumer Credit products (unsecured and secured).
Skills/knowledge that will make the candidate successful include Risk Management, Credit Policy, Operations, Collections, Analytics, Technology, Leadership and ability to build strong relationships.
Provide Global Consumer Independent Risk Management leadership to identify and carry forward initiatives in ECM functional area coordinating across multi-functional and multi-product teams in US and all international regions. Establish best in class and globally scalable firm-wide ECM (Existing Customer Management) policies, standards, processes and associated technology platforms with the goal to improve customer experience, risk governance and risk controls. Provide thought leadership to establish a comprehensive set of common ECM metrics to lead the dialogue in order to identify action plans to be executed globally. Lead the identification of key global ECM MIS needs in order to be able to identify opportunities for providing a remarkable customer experience, for expense savings and to provide a more effective and consistent Global Independent Risk oversight. Lead various risk management oversight activities such as determining scope and ensuring issue resolution in QAF (Quality Assurance Framework) and identifying issues via BM (Business Monitor) to assist businesses for the associated remediation actions. Assess compliance to policies and adherence to service levels; provide leadership to identify gaps/risks and to mitigate them on a timely basis with a consistent Go-to-Common approach. Provide Global Independent Risk Management guidance and direction to regions and businesses via day-to-day interactions, formal reviews, business visits and peer reviews.
The candidate will work with senior leaders across the globe in Consumer Risk, Business, Operations and Technology teams to create a new focus area about ECM and to determine and establish awareness about key matters to be prioritized and actioned. The candidate needs to be highly energetic, comfortable working with senior executives, have polished interpersonal skills, demonstrate solid analytical skills and have a strong knowledge and experience in Credit Initiation and/ or ECM functions. The ideal candidate should have a solid Credit Cards experience given that a large portion of ECM activities are related to Credit Cards.
Qualifications
15+ years Risk Management or Operations experience
Ability to demonstrate leadership
Senior executive presence, with exceptional written and verbal skills; relationship builder and team player
Ability to communicate complex issues in concise executive summaries
Project Management Skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
