Executive Director - Creative - Digital - Saatchi & Saatchi LA - Torrance


Job description
We are seeking an Executive Creative Director to be a public face for the agency and to partner with senior leadership to establish, elevate, and champion digital platform & brand marketing work on behalf of our clients. We are looking for an exceptional leader - part visionary, part strategist, part humanist, part tinkerer - with a sincere passion for interactive design and digital storytelling.


In a daily capacity you will lead the Platform & Content group (website and apps teams, including visual, ux/experience design, copywriting, and content), the Data-Informed Digital groups (advertising & social media), and the Creative Technology group. The successful candidate will have previously driven the design vision for enterprise scale projects at digital or integrated agencies, and on behalf of the most senior clients.

Is able to see beyond explicit individual assignments to identify broader, longer-term opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience
Design / Branding / Marketing

8 - 12+ years of proven experience.
Has a sincere passion for interaction design, experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and new/emerging platforms and technologies.
Has a robust knowledge of design and advertising fundamentals and is infectious as a continual student of the space and as an educator to clients and the agency.
Has established a diverse portfolio with a degree in visual communication or a related field, such as human-computer interaction, visual design, product design, or interaction design.
Is an expert at digital storytelling (motion, art, and copy) and branding with a particular focus on communicating simply and effectively.
This role occasionally has opportunities to push digital boundaries in physical environments. Passion for or experience with interactive retail, point-of-sale, and physical – to - digital initiatives would be highly valued.
