Director - University Programs - ebay - San Jose


Job description
As the Director of University Programs, you will be a constant champion of intern, MBA and new grad talent, responsible for partnering with client groups as well as target universities to ensure ebay is an employer-of-choice through the entire program cycle: on-campus engagement, offer presentation, onboarding and beyond. The Director will be responsible for managing and directing a university program of considerable scope and complexity, requiring specialized knowledge of the program and the associated processes and procedures; in addition to the ongoing development, implementation, and administration of ebays intern, MBA and new grad programs, ensuring an exciting and consistent experience for all university talent.
Work also includes marketing the program and defending program goals and objectives before the business and executives. The Director will be responsible for exploring innovative ways to continually provide a meaningful and memorable experience at ebay. The University Programs Director will oversee a team that develops and maintains relationships with key University professionals, careers services, campus organizations, clubs and societies. Manage overall budget for the program. The position will be based at ebays HQ in San Jose, CA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent

University Relations program experience in either a corporate or campus setting

Direct experience working in high-technology, internet/e-commerce space

Proven ability to lead, develop, own and drive programs/processes

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Accustomed to working in a rapidly-changing environment

Consultative, influential, and collaborative

Results-oriented

Excellent time management, organizational, and people and program management skills

Excellent change management skills
