Job description
This position will be responsible for delivering the product roadmap by partnering with highly motivated and co-located product teams to drive customer value and features using SAFE Agile methodologies, while driving our transition to the cloud with a modularized widget based JBoss Development while developing the standards for which other teams will integrated with the platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the people management of 3 – 4 engineering teams.


Job Duties Include
Drive innovation and manage product development teams within a fast paced, agile environment
Cultivate an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics
Recruit IT professionals with business and industry experience, and develop, reward and energize a competent, effective team within the technology organization.
Identify and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
Manage and/or lead software development teams, obtaining necessary resources, acting as an escalation point and removing impediments to achieve goals and objectives
Engage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps
Collaborate with a wide variety to stakeholders within business and technology teams to drive change required to execute product roadmaps
Coach, guide and promote creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across engineering teams
Enable integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product managers, technical project managers, architects, engineers, and quality assurance
Collaborate within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases
Coach, guide and promote creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across engineering teams
Enable integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product managers, technical project managers, architects, engineers, and quality assurance
Collaborate within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases

Deep Knowledge Of Front End, Middleware And Backend Technologies Such As HTML, JBoss, Angular.JS, JavaScript, IOS, REST Based Web Services, Java In Addition To
5+ years in coding/engineering/architecting enterprise web-based solutions
5+ years experience in the IT industry, managing multiple phases of the IT development lifecycle
5+ years experience in leading and developing enterprise level customer facing solutions
Demonstrated people leadership experience with 5+ years leading teams in a technology environment, preferably across multiple locations
Broad technical background, with specific technical depth in at least one distributed platform, preferably Java based. Keen awareness of industry trends and emerging technology themes
Demonstrated experience in managing large scale technology development projects using Agile
Outstanding relationship building skills and proven ability to influence and drive delivery across a geographical distributed organization
Superb collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to take risks and challenge the status quo
Demonstrated ability to form a multi-year technology strategy and execute successfully against it
Ability to build and leverage strong relationships with business and technology partners
