Job Responsibilities
This Individual will provide leadership in the fast paced, highly critical enterprise messaging space. Provide oversight for our vendor relationships and help drive efficient processes to meet compliance and business needs. Will own the strategy and management of the virtual application and virtual desktop environments.
Must be able to act as technical SME in areas of application and desktop virtualization
Must be able to direct both technical and non-technical resources to delivery on priorities.
Engage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility.
Must have experience on building and marketing a global virtual desktop environment
Communicate to senior leaders with regard to program strategy direction and changes.
Act as primary liaison between key stakeholders and partners.
Establish and clearly communicate program strategy and progress to key stakeholders.
Monitor projects to ensure technology, compliance and security standards are being adhered to and project objectives are being met.
Act as primary point of escalation for Program Managers and/or Project Managers and resolve issues as necessary.
Promotes continued improvement and works to define process improvement initiatives to be implemented by team.
May act as mentor to selected Project Managers to ensure key programs are managed with the rigor and professionalism necessary to deliver to world class levels.
May design, track and analyze quality controls or governance processes.

Required Skills/Qualifications
Has experience with rollout and support of VDI technologies in Citrix, VMware and Microsoft
Understanding of network appliances including Citrix Netscaler and F5
Understanding of storage capabilities including but not limited to vSAN, extremeIO, DAS, SAN, NAS
Understanding profile management on solutions like AppSense, RES, Liquidware
Experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; SAN storage systems; clustering; physical server architecture; VMware and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
Experience with creating of process to align with FRB and FED compliance requirements.
Proven track record of leading vendor teams to provide support and systems integration.
Practical experience in doing both written and verbal communication effectively to multiple levels within the organization.
Practical experience in effective time management, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authority.
Preferred Additional
Microsoft Certified System Engineer preferred
VmWare or Citrix Certification(s) or industry equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience in prevailing industry architecture and engineering methodologies – TOGAF,MSF and ITIL preferred.
Educational Requirement
Bachelors degree in technology or equivalent experience
