Description Of Duties
MCR, LLC is seeking to fill a Director, Business Development position in Beavercreek, OH. The position will primarily support geographic specific business development and company-wide initiatives.
Internal
Perform as the Business Development Manager supporting Air Force Programs which includes leading and executing capture activities:
a. Capture Plan Development and Management
b. Pipeline database development and management
c. Color Team Reviews
d. Customer Contact Plans
Provides Executive-level support to Operations Staff in the preparation of Bi-weekly reports and Pipeline Reviews (Business Opportunity Reviews/Status Updates)
Client Facing
Build and maintain relations with the USAF, focused on the EPASS Program.
Identify suitable business opportunities with the USAF.
Prior to procurement, work to ensure that business opportunities are MCR friendly and are tied to our Corporate Strategic Plans.
Qualify opportunities for funding approval funded and capture
Tie business development initiatives to funding/procurement initiation and MCR capabilities
Manage relationships with market place /industry key figures and corporations for positioning teaming relations and gathering market intelligence.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
+ years of experience developing business with the U.S. Government. The last two years must have been developing business with the United States Air Force.
Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DoD Acquisition Policies and Procedures.
Must have proven experience managing captures for, and ability to develop a $100M portfolio in business .
Proven track record of closing new business with these clients over the last two years.
Deep, proven and recent client relationships within the CIO’s, CFO’s and business, or mission organizations for these clients.
Good understanding of the consultative sales process.
Must be proficient with using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Must be available to travel as needed.
US Citizenship is required.
Additional Qualifications
TS clearance is preferred.
