Director - Sales - Amazon Account - Huawei Device - Seattle


Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for the sales and liaison activities between company and assigned account(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions

Meet and exceed sales quotas
Create strategies and lead team efforts to maximize placement of company products within the accounts
Manage and be the main point of contact for existing account partners
Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, and support

Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings
Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management
Work with marketing team to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospect partners
Provide periodic report of pipeline and forecasts using automation tools
Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows
Maintain knowledge of new product offerings, competitive issues, and selling techniques
Lead contract negotiations
Manage sales pipeline
Define and execute partner sales plans

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree



Major/Discipline: Business, Marketing, or related field

Relevant Work Experience

Minimum: Five (5) years’ sales experience in the ecommerce industry selling products to ecommerce channels such as Amazon, eBay, etc.

Preferred: Six (6) to seven (7) years’ experience developing and executing strategic account plans for CE/telecom device sales to ecommerce channels such as Amazon, eBay, etc.

Skills & Abilities: (Technical or General)

Minimum Requirements:

Proficient in online B2C sales systems, tools, etc., especially for CE/telecom device sales
Proficient in digital marketing
Working experience with the procurement and marketing organizations with ecommerce customers
Proven track record of successfully managing sales growth and new category penetration
Experience managing the entire sales cycle, from opportunity assessment to sell-out
Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence
Articulate verbal skills, with strong presentation skills and persuasive written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively across all functional areas of the customer organization, from procurement to executive ranks
Ability to generate and manage sales pipelines
Working knowledge of devices (tablet, smart-phone, feature phone, etc.)
