Ping Identity is hiring a Director of People Operations to be based in their Denver office. We're looking for someone with 10 plus years experience in an HR Generalist role that has practical experience in all facets of corporate Human Resources. Come be part of something extraordinary!

Will work with the Chief People Officer to develop the People Operations strategy, ensuring that it fully aligns with Ping’s business strategy. Will design and develop People Operations strategies and programs that are aligned with short-term and long-term company goals. Will partner with business leadership teams to define a vision that drives innovation, growth and employee engagement while identifying critical capability needs and partnering with stakeholders to develop appropriate strategies that strengthen the organization.

Position requires a hands-on approach to leading and executing the People Operations function and provides day-to-day direction for the People Operations staff which is responsible for supporting multiple operating groups.

Job Functions:

Responsible for providing People Operations services for multiple operating groups.
Consults with management in providing day-to-day guidance in the areas of policy
interpretation and implementation, staffing and recruitment, compensation and
total rewards, employee relations, affirmative action/EEO, organizational
structure, workforce development, performance management and training to
achieve the best possible business outcome.
Provides direction and guidance in regards to regulatory matters
related to day-to-day management of employees, minimizing organization risks
and ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintains a working knowledge of federal,
state and local labor laws.
Promotes positive employee management practices in line with Ping leadership philosophy.
Provides guidance to management regarding coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.
Develops or implements People Operations programs and solutions and acts as the program manager to coordinate and deliver results. Topic areas may include onboarding, training, performance management, leadership development, Affirmative Action, health and wellness activities, etc.
Plays a critical role in crafting and implementing our performance management structure for the entire company.
Lends expertise in terms of the usability, integrity, and functionality of the companies HRMS systems.
Coordinates transition related activity for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
Acts as a group lead by providing direction and supervision to the People Operations team; assigns tasks, reviews work assignments for completion and quality of work, provides feedback and input into the performance evaluation, etc…
Coaches and counsels employee as required.
Collaborates and partners with other departments to complete assigned responsibilities.

Desired Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or
equivalent and 10+ years of related experience in several of the
following areas: employee relations, organizational development, workforce
management, compensation, training and development, systems and performance management.
Must have at least 5 years of direct management experience.
PHR/SPHR certification is highly desired.
