Director - State and Local Tax - 21st Century Fox - New York

21st Century Fox is looking for a talented Tax Director with excellent analytical and communication skills to oversee and coordinate the activities associated with the federal and state tax compliance. Role reports to Vice President, Global Tax.

Responsibilities
Responsible for income tax accounting (ASC 740) as it relates to state and local tax items.
Develop and maintain relationships with operational and finance leaders in each business unit.
Work with federal, state and international tax planning groups to accurately reflect tax planning in compliance filings.
Team with and provide necessary support to the corporate tax provision group.

Responsible for managing all aspects of state income and franchise tax compliance- returns, estimated payments, notices.
Support controversy team on state and local income tax audits
Assist global tax team with projects as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 10 years tax experience. Media a plus.
Public accounting/large multi-national experience preferred.
