Global Network Processing (GNP) product function is part of the Global Products & Solutions organization at Visa. GNP has overall responsibility for developing and growing network processing products through domestic and cross border processing, network value-added service and increasing value chain through issuer processing and white label processing services. The Senior Director role will include responsibilities across both network and issuer processing products aligned to the geographical/regional/country strategies and regulatory environments. The role will offer the incumbent opportunities to work with technology outsourcing vendors in the region, initiate, lead and manage cross-functional projects, develop processing business cases and work on vendor outsourcing agreements and work statements.
• Subject Matter Expert for issuer processor in Asia-Pacific leading the issuer processing initiatives in
Japan, China and the South-East Asia markets.
• Thought leadership and support to the Digital product team in digital issuing.
• Processing Project Management leader for domestic processing and issuer processing initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region including driving the cadence and agenda for the various Steering Committees formed for the respective initiatives.
• Financial, forecast and budget management responsibilities for issuer and network processing across the region.
• Manage the negotiation and renewal of third party vendor contracts for outsourcing including the Master Services Agreement and the associated Work Statements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management in financial services, fintech or IT services.
• PMI PMP/CITPM certified preferred
• Experience with payments processing (issuer, acquiring and network) and knowledge of VisaNet, Banknet or national payment networks required.
• Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments and initiatives.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen and experience with development of commercial contracts and licensing of IP, indemnity and liability syntax in contracts.
• Ability to work independently, yet seamlessly integrate activities with other teams when needed.
• Ability to negotiate and gain consensus between organizations where competing priorities exist.
• Excellent verbal and inter-personal communication
• Innovative with strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and demands.
