Job description
Director of Product
We are looking for an experienced product manager to lead the evolution of Gazelle’s newly introduced e-commerce website (buy.gazelle.com). The ideal candidate has a proven track record in optimizing online shopping experiences to deliver higher conversion rates, order values and customer satisfaction. This person will play an integral role in the ongoing innovation and differentiation of Gazelle’s used electronics purchase and trade-in service offerings. Responsibilities include developing e-commerce optimization strategy, setting site roadmap, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer and business value across the experience.

Responsibilities
Own the optimization of Gazelle’s e-commerce platform.
Identify and develop & champion business cases for new solutions / enhancements that improve the customer experience and drive business value.
Create merchandising, cross-sell, upsell, checkout, and post-transactional experiences that increase conversion rates and average order values.

Lead cross-functional teams to define site experience, product and process requirements.
Manage site optimization roadmap and prioritize new site/product features, enhancements and bug fixes.
Collaborate with the design, marketing and engineering teams to create compelling merchandising, checkout and post-transactional experiences.
Apply analytical rigor in evaluating the performance of the Gazelle experience; Drive A/B testing to continually optimize the site experience.
Actively partner with Gazelle’s marketing to develop features that drive customer acquisition, engagement and satisfaction.
Work with operations team to ensure fulfillment and processing capabilities are meeting customer needs.
Deliver brand promise through all customer touch-points.
Monitor competitors and benchmark broader web best practices to identify opportunities to evolve Gazelle’s user experience.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience; preferably in successfully scaling direct-to-consumer ecommerce solutions
Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
Strategic thinker with bias for action.
Ability to evaluate business opportunities and drive strategy developments.
Outstanding problem-solving & analytical skills and ability to find insights in diverse data sets. Proficiency in using Excel and Google Analytics or comparable analytics platforms and other tools to derive insights.
Avid customer advocacy.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with great efficiency and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Team player with proven success leading cross-functional teams and operating in a highly interdependent organization.
Strong work ethic and curiosity.
Initiative and drive. Acting with a sense of urgency and thriving in fast-paced environment.
