Senior Director - Consumer Marketing - Activision Publishing - Santa Monica

What we’re looking for
As a Senior Director, Consumer Marketing for, you will oversee the communication strategy, creative process and production/execution for all marketing materials for an Activision title. You will partner directly with Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing to ensure product strategies and company objectives are met. You will be responsible for day to day management of external creative agency partners, and manage the approval process of all creative materials.

What you’ll do
· Direct the development of a consumer focused Communications Plan
· Manage creative execution and production process including
· Lead creative briefings and subsequent creative reviews to provide feedback and direction
· Manage overall schedules and deadlines
· Review Agency estimates for services and manage costs versus budgets

· Manage trafficking/approvals process
· Manage asset needs and distribution to International Offices
· Act as a key liaison between Activision team and external Agency Partners
· Assist SVP, Consumer Marketing in sourcing and vetting new agency partners as necessary to fit Activision needs.
· Stakeholder in the development of Consumer Marketing best practices, process improvements, cost efficiencies and training opportunities.
What you’ll bring
· Minimum Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred)
· Must have experience of marketing kid directed product
· 5+ years experience in marketing high profile brands or agency account management
· Experience in TV, Video, Online and Social Advertising required

What you have
· Experience with marketing kid directed franchises / products
· Proven team leader with people management experience
· Strong inter-personal and issue resolution skills
· A passion for gaming ,toys and fun is strongly preferred
· Excellent communication skills,
· Excellent organizational and project management skills
· Strong leader, Service oriented, Bias towards continuous improvement
