Wedbush Securities is a leading financial services company that provides investment banking, institutional sales/trading and street leading small and mid-cap equity research across the Technology/Media/Internet (TMI), Consumer, Life Sciences and Industrial Growth sectors. Our investment banking team is seeking an experienced TMI banker at the Managing Director or Senior Vice President level to lead the firm’s growth in this sector. As the firm currently has seven high-quality senior equity TMI analysts covering more than 100 stocks, there are tremendous resources available to grow the firm’s participation in investment banking business across this sector. Specifically, areas supported on the research side include; Software, Internet, Social Media, Networking Equipment, Financial Technology/Payments, Media and Semiconductors. Wedbush provides comprehensive support and competitive compensation/payouts. This position may be based in New York City, although West Coast is preferable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify, execute and manage all aspects of business development
Source IPO, follow-on offering, M&A advisory and private placement transaction opportunities: and lead the execution of such transactions
Recruit, manage and develop team members in a highly team-oriented and collaborative environment


Desired Skills and Experience
BA/BS required; MBA, CFA or other advanced degrees/credentials desirable
7 years of relevant investment banking industry experience required
Well established relationships with companies in the TMI sector
Track record of maintaining client relationships in those sectors, and sourcing and closing transactions
Capital raising experience in public equity markets required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Current FINRA licenses required
