Director - Visual Merchandising - Sport - Victoria's Secret - Reynoldsburg


Job description
The Director of Visual Merchandising for Sport is responsible for visual strategies that will evolve presentations to build brand equity, are customer intuitive and scalable for all stores. Collaborate with Creative, Translation, Marketing, Merchants, Space Planning and Store Operations to ensure optimal profitability and in store experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Devise, implement and execute innovative merchandising strategies for Intimates, developing presentation translations for all store designs and volume categories (fixture needs/usage, wall elevations, adjacencies and marketing needs, etc).
- Devise, implement and execute tests as they relate to Intimates categories to ensure total store is leveraged for optimal execution, collaborating with cross-functional partners for test results and quantitative/qualitative information.
- Constantly conceptualize new and creative in store merchandising ideas to drive out of the box thinking.
- Validate all final floorset line plans, delivery updates, and tiers for Intimates product when collaborating with Merchants.

- Work directly with Store and Field Visual leadership to identify opportunities, gain client/associate feedback, and apply learning to achieve optimal execution and selling success.
- Strategic - finds solutions that integrate business and brand objectives.
- Creative - initiate and promote ideas that drive the business.
- Strong leader - be able to lead leaders, be a leader with peers and manage up.
- Articulate - excellent written and verbal skills.

- Proven strength in problem analysis and decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4 Year Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or Art preferred
- 8-10 years of experience managing complex operations.
- Proven track record in execution of strategic Visual Plans.
- Experience developing and managing talent.
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in Design and Adobe Photoshop
