Based in Manhattan Beach, Kinecta is one of the largest credit unions in California, and growing! We currently have a great opportunity for a highly skilled and ambitious leader that will manage a region of Retail Branches.

The Director of Retail Services oversees all aspects of their respective region to include branch operations, shares and membership to all retail Member Service Centers (MSC) in assigned region and ensures that all MSC’s policies and programs are in line with overall Credit Union objective. Accountable for management oversight and direction of all Member Service Centers in assigned region. Responsible for personnel development and implementation of strategic business plans in order to ensure the Member Service Center’s achievement on all business objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and attains the Region MSC Sales and Service Quality goals, through the development of comprehensive and measurable sales and service activities.
Provides training, coaching, and development to subordinate managers. Ensures that organizational resources tools are available to support these efforts.
Utilizes Dashboards and other coaching and counseling tools for increasing sales & service performance.
Clearly defines goals and sales expectations.
Shares Best Practices and sales tools with MSC’s. Cross-pollinates ideas amongst the management team to support the sales and service effort.
Implements and executes the selected CU Sales Management process.
Supports the rollout of new SEG acquisitions. Supports cross-divisional sales in consumer loans, mortgages and CUSO.
Provides direction and support to MSC operations personnel to ensure the proper safeguarding of assets and conformity to all Credit Union policies and procedures.
Ensures region/MSC compliance with financial and operational standards, security and safety standards, branch appearance, and audit guidelines to safeguard the integrity of Credit Union operations.
Tracks Service Quality performance and daily sales and service performance against goal.
Serves as a liaison between Credit Union divisions.
Develops MSC budgets and makes expenditure decisions based on budgetary guidelines.
Minimizes Credit Union exposure to losses through appropriate risk assessment/management.
Ensures that all Regional outlets are in and maintains compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures.

Education, Training and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in relevant field .
· Minimum of five years of branch management experience in a financial institution.
· Minimum of three years experience in the areas of sales, service, and operational management.
· Minimum of one year of regional level branch management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of sales, business development, branch administration, and products and services.
Knowledge of financial industry rules and regulations.
Ability to provide effective leadership and guidance to staff.
Proven sales and service capability.
