Responsible for achieving annual sales targets by executing successful business development strategies. Specific responsibilities include customer relationship management and direct sales of new and existing services for accounts and prospects inside the top 100 US based property insurance carriers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:




Achieve high retention rates of existing business and establish and improve customer relationships and satisfaction. Maintain leading share position with strategically important accounts.

Explain ITEL products and services simply and thoroughly to customers and partners by developing a deep understanding of the scientific processes and technologies used.

Build and foster senior level relationships with key accounts that represent a significant portion of overall sales.

Grow revenues within existing customer accounts and channels, develop new accounts and sales channels for existing services and assist in development and launch of new services.

Maintain and update customer accounts and contacts.

Travel to the customer’s location for sales and training opportunities.





SUPERVISION/JUDGMENT/SCOPE:



This position reports to the VP Sales & Marketing and will require up to 70% travel. It requires considerable latitude in judgment whereas the incumbent will, at times, have to make important decisions. The impact of any errors could be of a serious nature and could cause serious adverse effects internally and/or externally. This position will have contact with internal and external customers at all levels. This position has access to proprietary and confidential information. This position will have direct contact with customers at key levels.



SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:




BA or BS degree preferred

Minimum 6 years progressive sales experience

Demonstrated track record in enterprise sales and building customer relationships within multi-billion dollar corporations with multiple touch points. Consultative selling and long lead time sales experience required

Strong oral and written communication skills

Detail oriented

Able to interact comfortably with internal and external customers at all levels

Able to work in a fast-paced, change and deadline-oriented environment

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, and have a workable knowledge of other Microsoft applications (MS Office, etc.)

Self-starting, proactive work ethic

Able to recognize and quickly address customer problems and needs
