Job Description
Purpose
Support the Group Head of US SRP in the successful completion of all regulatory remediation deliverables required by the various settlement and deferred prosecution agreements (the "Orders" and "DPAs" with US regulators and government agencies
Responsible for the governance and coordination of all the US SRP projects and programs that are delivering remediation actions as required by the Orders and DPAs
Work in close co ordination with the Group's Financial Crime risk Mitigation Program ("FCRMP") and the FCC function to ensure successful planning and delivery of those US commitments that rely on group-wide projects or initiatives

People and Talent
Build the appropriate culture and values within area of responsibility and across the program
Develop and embed in areas of responsibility a high performance culture by working with direct reports to sponsor people and business management processes and activities, including the development and sharing of models of excellence and best practice
Ensure each member of the SRP team has appropriate capacity and capability to deliver
Work with direct reports to develop and reward talented people in area of responsibility and deliver business goals by active sponsorship and leadership of people management activities
Effectively leverage group resources and local employees to effectively staff the SRP and increase global awareness of the linkage between regulatory remediation and Conduct Agenda

Governance
Establish program structures with clear lines of command, control and communication
Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, procedures and codes of conduct as well as relevant external laws and regulations
Allocate appropriate responsibility, accountability and authority to direct reports. Where appropriate, segregate duties to minimise risk of financial crime or contravention of regulatory requirements
Set and drive program management standards across SRP -including Financial Management, standardised issues and risks reporting and status reporting
Stakeholder Relations
Consistently deliver complete, accurate status updates and thorough responses to all external information requests and deliver accurate, timely and informative management information to all stakeholders to effectively meet their requirements
Continuously assess delivery and production of SRP communications to ensure relevance and suitability for all recipients, both internal and external and align SRP communications and presentations with relevant FCRMP streams and deliverables


Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support the Group Head US SRP to ensure the successful execution of all US regulatory remediation actions and relevant FCRMP deliverables over the entire life cycle of all remediation projects and action plans
Foster effective partnerships with all participants in the remediation action process from accountable executives and project managers to Audit, FCR Monitoring and the Monitor(s)
Ensure strict alignment of all program and project components with the group's Risk Management Framework
Manage the SRP program budget via ongoing dialogue with accountable executives and project managers to ensure that the controllable costs are managed effectively, that forecasting and reporting is accurate and to ensure appropriate allocation of cost and investment to all functions under the responsibility areas
Facilitate satisfactory execution of remediation deliverables to enable transition into BAU functions with proper assurance of adequate staffing, reliable technology and robust policies and procedures
Ensure the program is adequately resourced and staffed by an appropriate number of competent employees who are sufficiently qualified and skilled to perform their
