Director Product Management ADP Parsippany

Job Description
This Director of Product Management will have a primary focus on enabling technologies and tools to deliver superior user experience and improve operational efficiency. The product owner will also collaborate with the service and implementation leaders to ensure any new product features incorporate serviceability into the design. She/he will work closely with the field organization to ensure timely product rollout and client adoption of new products and features.

The product owner will provide oversight of the planning and agile development process and lead the team in achieving on-time, on-budget releases that attain commercial success in the market. Collaborate with other product owners who are responsible for market-sensing and requirement gathering activities to understand market and internal requirements and deliver innovative product solutions that delight our clients and meet our business objectives.

The product owner will function as a day-to-day product owner any enabling tools and technologies to support any business transformation initiatives. She/he will be representing the product team in participating in Kaizen and other process improvement projects.

This is a global role. The product owner will be traveling to global locations to meet with clients and internal stakeholders. A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate she/he has worked effectively in a multi-time zone and an international environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overall product management requirements related to the enabling tools and technologies for the MNC HCM and Global Payroll solutions. Identifies and develops product strategy and requirements and evaluates their potential and practicality by analyzing operational, market and customer needs through direct stakeholder interaction, benchmarking research and interfacing with sale, service, implementation and IT.
Acts as a Primary Product Owner and interface with the service and implementation teams for select product features. Responsible for product roadmap definition and prioritization and provide input to other product owners in the areas of supportability and implementability. Acts as a champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and aligns all development activity with business goals and priorities.
Work closely with the field service organization to understand the business process and service requirements to ensure we build products that are optimized to facilitate service delivery and implementation.
Directly responsible for SCRUM teams (number to be determined) and external solution partners (where required), including feature/requirement definition, use cases, delivery management and ongoing quality management. Manages the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement). Works day to day with the product SCRUM teams and partners to clarify requirements and accept final user stories, balances business needs with technical requirements, and recommends alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed.
Supports all product launch and market-facing support activities. Serves as the key client facing contact for the product as well as subject matter/technical expert to the external client, marketing, sales and service organizations on all matters related to the product(s). Works with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. where appropriate to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
EXPERIENCE, SKILL and ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent in education and experience. MBA and/or advanced Technical Degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in a market-facing software and enterprise solutions product role.
Facilitative leadership experience as well as experience working with Agile methodology strongly preferred.
Significant knowledge of Global Human Capital Management market.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams to accomplish project goals.
Must be capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product.
Must have experience in HR and payroll or BPO service delivery.
Demonstrated understanding of service definition and service delivery model. Experience with service delivery, implementation and support highly preferred.
Proficiency in process mapping and KPIs in a service environment is a must.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required.
Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment necessary.
Must be a strong collaborator, team player as well as an individual contributor.
Multi-lingual abilities is a plus.
Must manage a complex matrix organization in an international setting.
