Senior Director - Technology Strategy - SanDisk - Milpitas

Job description
This position is responsible for developing strategies around SanDisk’s memory technology to enable leadership in the Client SSD market. The position will work closely with strategic marketing and engineering architecture teams to develop a technology roadmap that will serve as a guide to developing leadership products. This position will also work directly with CTOs of our key customers and technology partners to understand key long-term trends that determine where future opportunities in the Client Storage space lie.

This position requires a MS in CS or EE and 15 years experience in a technology leadership role. This position must have a strong technical aptitude with a proven track record of seeking opportunities for innovations that lead to product differentiation and leadership. Individual should have experience working with marketing and development teams on concept definition and execution planning. Strong communication skills required as well as experience building strong technology partner relationships. Experience with Operating Systems, File Systems, PC Architecture and Storage Technology are highly desirable. A successful candidate will have the ability to work with business and technical teams equally and be able to build consensus in the face of future unknowns.
