Director - Market - PepsiCo - Jacksonville

Job Description:
This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional area. This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service, marketing equipment and warehousing operations. This person will have the responsibility of leading a team of sales employees both hourly and salary to drive superior marketplace execution and customer service, share growth and profit performance.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities :
Maximize volume and revenue in a defined region in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment.
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region.

Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards.
Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees.
Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs

Basic Job Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Consumer packaged good experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment
A minimum of 5 years of people leadership

Preferred Job Qualifications:

MBA or Master's Degree
