Job description
/ HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Provides brand expertise and leadership in guiding creative team and agency partners in developing strategic creative solutions that meet client goals• Develops relationships with clients
• Oversees the activity and output of three or more individual creatives that are assigned to specific accounts or clients
• Proactive in directing and managing multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes and budgets• Successfully evaluates art and copy equally
• Responsible for overall quality and presentation of client work
• Plays primary role in client presentations and consistently demonstrates a high level of ability to sell an idea, respond to questions and communicate the agency’s point of view
• Reviews incoming job starts, creative briefs and other forms of project initiation to ensure team has essential information and sufficient time
• Effectively communicates marketing strategies and creative standards to the team
• Allocates resources to jobs based on skill set, timelines, budget and workload
• Reviews and approves work generated by their and provides clear, timely and constructive feedback• Identifies best possible creative solution and execution without regard for where the idea originated• Identifies appropriate creative solutions from every Momentum discipline
• When necessary, develops and executes creative assignments within their respective area of expertise
• Creates a team environment that facilitates: mutual respect and partnership across functions (creative, mkt svcs, etc) quality thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication between staff and managers, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy.
• Develops processes and procedures addressing workflow, operational and quality issues within team and across other Momentum departments• Leads individual new business efforts working in conjunction with senior management and external agency partners
• Involved with selection, staff planning, performance management, employee relations, training and related HR matters pertaining to direct reports in accordance to agency policy and procedure. Training and development of direct and indirect reports
• Provides meaningful review experience for assigned team members
.• Motivator and mentor to direct and indirect reports
• Ability to write a strategy, if needed

Desired Skills and Experience
/ HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS•
10+ years of relevant experience• 3+ years agency experience, prefer experience in more than one discipline (sales promotion, advertising, event marketing, etc)• High level of strategic and conceptual thinking – strategic thinker as well as doer
• Ability to identify, conceive and advance high level marketing strategies
• Ability to concept and develop appropriate creative solutions from every possible Momentum discipline and train other creatives to do so as well
• Ability and willingness to recognize the best creative solution
• Proven success in creating integrated marketing solutions for clients
• 2+ years supervisory of 2 or more direct reports
• Demonstrates a “people management philosophy” that fits within the Momentum model (open forum for sharing ideas, mutual respect and partnership, on-going feedback, adherence to agency policies, disseminating information, open door policy)
• Proven leadership success• Ability to raise and resolve personal and professional conflicts in professional, fair-minded manner
• Proficient in managing large scale projects within budget parameters, with little to no supervision
• Consistently delivers flawless execution of ideas• Actively seeking out broader and bigger creative challenges
• Proven ability to influence senior clients
• Proven talent in overall creative direction
• Not afraid to make on unpopular decision
• Acts as a positive catalyst for the group
