Job description
Responsibilities
Client Engagement
Designs and directs strategic consulting engagements to provide insight to our global clients for brand sales and marketing strategies/tactics and customer engagement
Make recommendations that improve the performance of brands, portfolios and commercial organizations with a focus on innovation, efficiency and effectiveness
Develops and implements analytic and metric methodologies to ensure maximal accountability for all Cognizant engagements
Develops cross-sell and upsell strategies to improve economics of retaining high-value clients in various verticals
Develops marketing, thought-leadership and selling support, sells Cognizant capabilities internally as well as to clients
Leverages the collective organizational know-how and past engagements to continue to enhance service delivery
Engage with the client team to understand the business issues
Strong consultation, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in client engagement support and etiquette; support meetings at client sites
Project Management/Business Analysis
Leads and mentors staff of consultants, analysts, and research associates, with responsibility for their professional development, allocation to projects, and QA of their work
Prepares and presents metrics-based business cases to support the value proposition of Cognizant's recommendations in business-development pursuits
Mobilizes the organization to build best-in-class and proprietary industry solutions, ROI/value analysis approaches, and strategic partnerships with business partners offering complementary capabilities
Produces and disseminates thought-leadership on marketing strategy and operations including portfolio optimization, brand management and business analytics for press and speaking engagements; Represents Cognizant in public forums, including speaking engagements, seminars, by-lined articles, association activities, trade shows, etc.
Responsible for delivery of strategy, customer insight, analytical offering as well as leadership in the development of new service offerings.

Candidate Experience Level Experienced, 15+ years
Functional Experience: Responsible for simultaneously leading teams covering several accounts and large projects in the area of Strategic (Launch strategy, customer engagement models, Mix modeling etc.) and Operational (Resource deployment, reporting, ad hocs etc.) Analytics.
Desired Skills and Experience
Relevant Industry Experience: Ideal candidate will have industry experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare.
Management Experience
Strong leadership and decision making abilities and the ability to lead and influence in a matrix managed environment
Highly organized and able to multi-task, operating in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Willingness to Travel
Up to 30%
Base location: NJ/ NY/CT
Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and 7 to 10 years relevant industry experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in related field
Technical Skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with business and marketing intelligence tools for use in strategic planning, marketing operations and multichannel analytics is highly desirable
Experience with statistical packages like SAS, SPSS or R, is a plus
Personal Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations at all organizational levels, internally and externally
Able to lead independently at a high level in a fluid, high-paced environment focused on meeting and exceeding client expectations
Able to partner effectively across teams representing a range of technical and business experiences to grow the business and meet client needs
Strong business acumen
