Job description
PURPOSE:
Manage the design and execution of graphic design materials related to advertising, point of sale, and relationship marketing campaigns that will support the Victorias Secret brand. Design packaging and other brand materials that engage our client and are inclusive of her needs. Contribute to product and event concept development - bring ideas that support strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the concept development, design and execution of campaign creative and related graphic marketing materials while working closely with members of the strategic, merchant, and visual presentation teams.
- Integrate advertising campaign directions into all forms of client communication, including window presentation, point of sale marketing, and relationship marketing vehicles.
- Partner with visual presentation team to develop -next- in-store experience that enhances the clients shopping experience.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to create cohesive window presentations and in-store displays that marry marketing with product in a compelling way.
- Work with creative leaders to develop concepts for product launches and key holiday periods.
- Present design materials to key members of Senior Management.

- Art Direct still photography shoots and assist fashion photography shoots, select talent and work with in-house producer to organize shoots.
- Oversee the design and execution of assigned projects and in-store signage.
- Work closely with merchants, marketing strategic members, and design, to understand products and collections.
- Communicate with creative teams at VSD and VSB in order to make sure all three divisions are integrated graphically and visually at key launch periods.
- Conduct periodic VS shop visits to ensure familiarity with the business and to maintain customer intimacy.
- Identify, contract and direct outside resources on design projects as needed.
- Share creative responsibility with designers and writer for all projects.

AUTHORITY:

- Contract outside creative resources for photography, illustration, calligraphy, freelance design.
- Manage a creative group of 1-2 junior level designers.
- Recommend graphic direction to creative leaders and senior management on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-7 years of design experience in retail environment, with experience managing the creative process. Television or print advertising design experience a plus.
- Experience with fashion/beauty/sport brands a must.
- Ability to present creative explorations and execute campaigns.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as it relates to layout and print production.
