Apttus is seeking experienced industry leaders with a proven track record of building or marketing industry solutions to our target verticals. Business athletes combining strategic industry vision and the tactical skills needed to convert addressable market analysis into effective, revenue-generating target industry programs are desired. As a member of the vertical markets team, each Vertical Markets Director will work closely with executive management, sales, product management, marketing and professional services to frame and take to market vertical solutions leveraging Apttus quote-to-cash solutions.
The APTTUS Vertical Markets director is a fearless, dynamic, forward-thinking individual with an exceptional track record in their respective industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional industry experience in the quote to cash space or delivering target solutions combined with a deep understanding of industry history and evolution, systems and technology landscape and best practices, combined with the demonstrated ability to serve as a leader and strategist in an entrepreneurial, growing and successful business.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Identify and address target industry market segments, buyers and buying cycles
Creating domain-specific value drivers, messaging and go to market activities while providing strategic deal support when necessary. This role develops plans, strategic initiatives and content that drive business results, with the ultimate goal of rapid market acceptance, sales success and increased market share.
Work with internal stakeholder and partners to frame and bring to market industry specific solutions and value propositions while creating industry Leadership through targeted, content-rich programs and campaigns
Drive Pipeline and Revenue acceleration through effective Demand Generation programs and lead acceleration tools
Provide thought leadership, domain expertise and strategic support to sales working in conjunction with industry partners and thought leaders
Be the recognized company and industry expert, providing internal and external thought leadership
Develop and deliver high-level marketing messaging, sales training, competitive analysis, sales support, and customer presentations

Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills/Experience:
Industry experience in direct contributor role with strong knowledge in or supporting core Quote to Cash processes
Extensive B2B SaaS product experience, ideally combining a blend of product management and product marketing functional experience. Prior program management experience is highly desired.
The ability to build and position quantitative value propositions is a must.
The ability to function in a complex, fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing B2B2C environment—the ability to adapt and re-prioritize under pressure will be key.
Enjoys fast paced, growing company environment
6 years (minimum) product marketing experience in SaaS, enterprise software or services
Domain experience in software for Revenue Management applications like Billing, Order Management, Revenue Recognition and Rebate Management
Salesforce.com experience is a plus
Proven ability to translate technical features into business benefits
