Job description
The Research Director is responsible for delivering Neuberger Berman's unique investment solutions and capabilities to the any broker dealers research and strategy teams our National Account Managers are partnering with.
Desired Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
Meet regularly with all levels of research teams (analyst and leadership) in an effort to secure research, recommended or model placement of Neuberger Berman investment solutions.
Engage with partner firm strategy level teams in order to help better align portfolios being presented to the research teams.

Mandatory monthly attendance to Focus PM Team Investment Meetings.
Provide superior level client service and updates to all existing researched, recommended and model portfolios.
Where breakout opportunities are present at conferences, the Research Director will have the responsibility forsophisticated investment discussions (ie - primary speaker).
Coordinate with Product Management and Marketing a quarterly research "value add" to be delivered to all partner firmstakeholders.
Partner and plan a coordinated effort with National Account Managers covering the research function.
Comunicate consistently with all internal stakeholders involved in the relationship management process (ie - Monthly Research Note).
Strong and demonstrated ability (preferred) to collaborate and partner in a team oriented environment.
Develop process and roadmap to provide clients appropriate and timely material.
Effective communication and presentations skills with ability to convey technical ideas to small and large audiences.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of Asset Management experience
Undergraduate Degree
Additional academic achievements highly important (CFA, MBA, CIMA, etc.)
Prior history of working in a team environment a plus
Demonstrated strong organizational skills and a self starter background
Effective communication and presentations skills
Strong investment and capital markets acumen
Intermediary Distribution knowledge and relationship preferred
Keen attention to detail and follow up
