Director - Sales and Business Development - Bakery Bake One - Atlanta
Job Description
This individual will lead all new business development activities with the primary responsibility of generating sales from new customers in new and current channels through previous industry contacts with the goal to close 3-5 deals within the year. This individual will exhibit an entrepreneurial drive with a self-guided attitude to take initiative where client and project direction is not always well defined.
Qualified candidates will understand how to produce results when working in challenging client environments and/or new business areas. The ability to define and manage around ambiguity is critical. This individual will possess the desire to be part of a growing, fast paced environment and be able to manage simultaneous sales targets. This individual will remain solutions-oriented with limited direction in conjunction with possessing a strong sense of self-awareness, ability to be upfront and honest and have a willingness to adjust strategies and approaches when needed to achieve the highest level of results.

Requirements
•Current industry contacts a must
•Sales ability as demonstrated by a history of achieving and exceeding sales forecasts.
•A territory qualification is mandatory
•Strong background in business development, corporate strategy and project management with a proven record
•Ability to use your strong influencing and communication skills to build strong working relationships with key merchandise, supply chain, operations & IT stakeholders to deliver commercially viable and effective solutions
•Strong analytical and commercial acumen along with an understanding of business drivers
•Pivotal to success in the role is creative strategic thinking, combined with project management and implementation skills and a high degree of drive and energy to achieve outcomes
