Your Role:
Altisource® Enterprise Applications team creates best of breed software applications that change the way the mortgage industry does business. The team is responsible for establishing and advancing core operational business functions, including business process optimization platforms, advanced data management tools, and business intelligence systems.
The business is growing rapidly and for this we have a need of Director, Service Delivery to build and lead a global team of highly skilled professionals. This position will provide strategic IT leadership and actively participate as a key business partner in the development of technology strategies and solutions that align with the business goals.
The Director is responsible for providing overall functional, architectural, and technical leadership within a newly formed internal business applications department. Successes will include implementing company-wide solutions, such as ERP systems, workforce management systems, re-engineering business processes, application integration, identity management, and content management. The Director, Service Delivery will lead a rock-star team of Service Delivery Managers, and Business Analysts. If that is you, let us know.
Your Charge:
Work closely with the business formulate a mutually agreed upon application strategy and forward looking roadmap to sequence projects, determine funding levels and ensure resource availability
Establish portfolio review routines to communicate progress, roadblocks, and establish priorities
Build effective partnerships with the leadership team to facilitate technology planning, establish strategy, and prioritize the project portfolio
Manage multiple project initiatives, providing project structure, resourcing plans and driving project delivery to assure that the business goals and objectives are met
Solve functionality gaps with innovative solutions, enabling market leading capabilities
Set project expectations with functional teams and present those expectations to the executive team
Initiate and lead project activities, prioritize business requirements, define Critical to Quality components, manage risks and issues, and create deployment plans
Manage adherence to architecture, governance, project and development methodologies in complex, distributed application development environment
Plan, coordinate and organize complex environments, develop and implement solutions
Resolve all project issues including budget, timeline, scope changes, software functionality and technology including managing project quality to ensure meeting business requirements
Ensures that projects deliver the value/ROI agreed upon within the engagement
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience and Know-How:
10-15 years of experience in technology management within the mortgage servicing, real estate or financial services industry
Excellent communication skills
5+ years staff management responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree business-related field, MBA preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Certification is a plus
Solid knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and resultant methodologies
Experience creating business process maps and master data designs for complicated business requirements
Knowledge of computer security, audit procedures and requirements
Ability to travel abroad
