Job description
The Director, Sales Operations is responsible for managing functions essential to our sales force productivity. A key component of this role is the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, to enhance the effectiveness of core areas in the sales organization. These functional areas include:
Sales organization design and development to achieve goals
Design the 2015 Sales Territories and Staffing Plan
Budgeting and FP&A
Staffing
Quota Capacity Planning,
Recruiting- role descriptions, interviewing, offers
Hiring- onboarding and training
Sales Policies and Process optimization
Scheduling weekly 1-1s and Big Deal Reviews,
Territory Assignment Process
Account Planning Process,
Opportunity Management Process
Quote & Proposal Process
Close Process
Sales Analytics

CRM system,
Training
Maintenance of system
Data Hygiene
Forecasting Process and Pipeline reporting,
Target account/customer segmentation analyses
Win/Loss analysis.
Sales Enablement
Sales Portal containing all available sales tools and training,
Training and certification
Prospecting
Systems
Products and Services
Discovery & Scoping
Negotiation
Sales Territory planning,
Quota coverage
Territory performance
Lead Routing and follow-up performance
Incentive/Compensation
Design and Implement Sales Compensation plans for various sales roles
Awards and Recognition

Desired Skills and Experience
7+ years in Sales Operations (or equivalent function)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Proven track record in Sales Operations at technology company
Strong project management skills
Results orientated with strong decision making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
Process oriented, but flexible around business needs
Ability to provide consultative input to management regarding performance and productivity analysis and suggest optimal solutions
Strong communications skills
Capacity to see and work both broadly and deeply within the organization
Must have a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
Ability to lead without the need for direct authority
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and CRM tools
