Bandwidth Business Solutions is seeking a Director, Product Management to join our team! We’re a communications technology company and we power some of the most innovative brands in business today – companies like Google Voice, Skype, Pinger and Twilio. Together with our customers, we’re helping people to interact with technology and one another in ways they never dreamed possible. The Director, Product Management will lead P&L, investment strategy and development roadmap for Bandwidth’s Emergency Services portfolio. Defining policy positions that will influence regulatory proposals in support of IP technology adoption and customer innovation will be a key portion of this role. Also, anticipating industry inflection points and aligning portfolio investments to ensure Bandwidth maintains its leadership position in the OTT segment. Directly engaging with key customers, translating requirements to Engineering, Product Marketing, Operations and Sales to drive highly valued products to market.



Primary Responsibilities include:

P&L responsibility for product line including monthly performance evaluation and updates to annual outlook.
Define and drive the business plan, strategy, investments and positioning for Emergency portfolio
Interact with current customers and prospects to define market requirements and unlock new revenue streams
Provide business and technical leadership to a team of product managers and solution architects while motivating to deliver top performance and outcomes
Represent Bandwidth’s Emergency service expertise to customers, analysts, at conferences and other venues
Drive the product roadmap, working closely with engineering and a full cross-functional team including product managers, customer operations, product marketing, sales, partners/suppliers, etc.
Work closely with product marketing to formulate value propositions and define go to market plan
Roll up your sleeves and work both strategically and tactically in a startup culture fashion
Analyzes competitive marketplace, studies available research/analyst commentary, and benchmarks company products to competitor products
Demonstrate leadership attributes that illustrate integrity, passion and initiative…while having fun.

Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills
Expert depth of knowledge on public 911 infrastructure, technologies and regulatory environment.
Strong understanding of current regulatory policy (voice and text) effecting emergency service obligations of OTT application development community.
Understanding of NG911 standards and the industries current success and challenges implementing NG solutions.
Strong understanding of OTT Application segment and intuition on how to enable application developers to revolutionize Emergency services for consumers.
Required Experience
BA/BS required; BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics plus, MBA preferred but not required.
10+ years experience of increasing responsibility in Emergency Services leadership positions with 5+ years working in Product Management leadership role.
Prior experience working in an entrepreneurial environment, where your judgment and strategic thinking were key to success.
ENP Certification is preferred but not required.
Drafting and defending regulatory policy positions is preferred but not required.
Must be available to travel occasionally.
