Director - Online Marketing - The Men's Wearhouse - San Francisco


Job description

Position Summary:
Founded in 1973, Men’s Wearhouse is one of North America’s largest specialty retailers of men’s apparel. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Digital Marketing to join us in our headquarters in Fremont, CA. The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our acquisition marketing programs focused on driving traffic, revenue and meeting ROI goals. This person will report directly to the VP of Ecommerce.
Key Accountabilities:
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Leading both the internal online marketing team and external digital agency toward the company’s marketing success, particularly around the Men’s Wearhouse, MW Tux, and Moores brands
Overseeing all areas of digital marketing including SEM, SEO, SMS, display, comparison shopping sites, video, and strategic online partnerships.
Partner with the merchandise group, brand, media, content and digital teams to develop an integrated marketing strategy

Monitoring and analyzing key business metrics on a campaign-by-campaign basis, and taking appropriate action based upon such analysis
Managing the marketing creative development process to ensure the creative is constantly optimized and consistent with our brand platform, website and store merchandising strategies
Develop and manage the online marketing budget

Desired Skills and Experience
6+ years of online marketing/customer acquisition experience
A hands-on person, exceptional relationship building skills
Superior analytic skills, and the ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to both identify new opportunities and optimize current campaigns
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition targets and a desire to own and be accountable for the online acquisition efforts
Deep knowledge of advertising creative development, including an understanding of how consumers engage with direct response media and the levers that drive performance
Great written and oral communication skills
Bachelors degree
