Hallmark Omnichannel is one of the driving forces behind the creation and delivery of digital solutions to Hallmark’s consumers. Historically known as “Hallmark.com”, the scope of the work in Hallmark Omnichannel has expanded to include almost all consumer digital touch points – web, mobile, social, etc. It is a fast paced, cutting edge environment for Hallmark and requires a can do, flexible attitude. Individuals are often asked to wear many hats and have the opportunity to engage with new and innovative technology and on consumer experiences.

The ecommerce director is a key leadership role within the Hallmark Omnichannel organization. In this role you will lead the ecommerce team and be accountable for the ecommerce P&L. You will manage a cross-functional team that includes planning, merchandising, marketing, analytics & operations, as well as collaborate with digital product management, user experience design, engineering and the brick & mortar retail organization to deliver significant business growth. Specifically, this role will:
Deliver on total digital ecommerce goals – financial, traffic, etc.
Drive improvements in site merchandising to increase conversion and basket size
Develop digital marketing programs to acquire new customers and retain and grow existing customers
Partner with Product Management to continuously improve the shopping experience
Lead the e-business team and manage the associated budget
This position reports to the VP/General Manager Hallmark Omnichannel. Successful execution of this role requires the ability to interact with senior management, to understand various audiences and to have the ability to translate strategic vision / direction into action. A strong desire to change the status quo, to build and grow possibilities and elevate Hallmark’s digital channel presence is essential.

Desired Skills and Experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business or related field
5+ years of experience managing ecommerce business within an omnichannel retail environment
Experience in ecommerce and digital marketing
Experience initiating and delivering programs that drive conversion and basket-size
Understanding of Omnichannel business dynamics
Experience leading teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE)
MBA
5-10 years experience managing ecommerce business within an omnichannel retail environment with a proven track record for delivering significant growth
Industry leading expertise in ecommerce and digital marketing
Proven ability to initiate and deliver programs that drive conversion and basket-size
Solid understanding of Omnichannel business dynamics
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, retain, movitvate and lead a high performing team
Experience and ability to work in an atmosphere which could include multiple and often conflicting priorities
Ability to draw conclusions and address key opportunities
Ability to work across multiple teams and functions with unique goals
Experience in managing with a proven ability to lead multiple projects, set priorities and meet aggressive timelines
Lead professional development of direct reports and execute team priorities
Self directed and team oriented with highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both writen and verbal, coupled with strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
Significant experience in dynamic, fast paced environment
