Position Overview
We are seeking a market professional for the role of Director, Product Management within Fidelity Centralized Electronic Trading (FCET) group at FCM. FCET’s multi-asset class mission is to develop innovative products and services that enable and empower Fidelity’s partners and clients to meet their trading objectives. Inherent within FCET is our data-driven approach to trading, products, services and the way we operate. The role will focus on leading the operational management of our product offering and support product owners in their development of robust processes and controls to deliver and maintain resilient products to the marketplace. The associate will be instrumental in working with FCET’s cross-asset product team, compliance, legal, management controls and internal audit to actively identify potential risks and gaps, and implement continuous product improvement.


Responsibilities
The associate will play a large role in driving and shaping the stability and integrity of FCM's electronic trading platform. The associate will manage and work across our entire product stack to maintain, identify, and work towards areas of constant process and product improvement as it relates to regulatory, market, operational, and reputational risk. In addition to cross product risk-assessment, the associate is accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions.
Support product owners in developing, maintaining, and improving processes and controls that proactively mitigate risks
Partner with Compliance and Internal Audit to lead and coordinate FCET’s responses to regulatory inquiries and audits
Develop, implement, and drive continuous product improvement strategy relating to systematic technology risks
Research industry best-practices and standards across products and asset classes
Manage product enhancements and roadmap related to internal product risk
Synthesize and disseminate regulatory and industry topics relating to systematic risk
Develop content and report out on initiatives
Lead and document business requirements for controls related to new products
Recommend product enhancements that improve the overall robustness and integrity of products

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's/Master's degree with 5+ years of trading floor, trading systems, or Operational/Systems Risk experience
Familiar with electronic trading products: FIX Protocol, Algorithms, EMS/OMS platforms, smart routing, Market Structure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Proven, effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong execution abilities and process improvement experience
Ability to navigate uncertainty while defining structure that ensures stability
