Director - Digital Customer Marketing - Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment - Los Angeles


Job description
This role requires a strategic marketing professional to manage the marketing initiatives with digital platforms to grow the digital movie and TV business.

Essential Responsibilities:
-Optimize the merchandising of Fox transactional content (movies and TV) on digital customer platforms (iTunes, Hulu, Netflix, Xbox)
-Partner with the digital platforms to market Fox titles to consumers both on store and off store to grow the transactional digital business
-Strategically promote Digital HD and VOD with creative and innovative promotions that target the internet consumer
-Drive awareness of Digital HD through breakout marketing and broaden the Digital HD category beyond the early adopter
-Proactively partner with several internet movie distribution platforms to secure incremental title support that impact the consumer's purchase decision
-Influence the distribution platform and end consumer with fresh, relevant marketing assets that enhances the Digital HD and VOD offering online

-Develop title specific marketing plans for new release product in conjunction with the brand marketing team
-Develop creative themed programs and stunts to promote catalog titles and drive incremental revenue in coordination with the brand team
-Create and implement client promotional plans through a variety of tactics including advertising, stunts, social media and platform specific programs and present plans and new initiatives to senior management
-Manage client specific promotions, schedules and executions across both on-store and off-store campaigns
-Collaborate with the digital sales team to build the most effective client relationships
-Analyze client and title performance as well as marketing effectiveness
-Research and analyze competitive and partner trends
-Liaise with several internal divisions including operations, finance, and legal

Desired Skills and Experience
-A minimum of 7 years transactional marketing experience in a theatrical, home video or digital media environment with an in-depth understanding of new distribution technologies
-Strong analytical, communication, and organization skills with the ability to multi-task
-Advanced ability to present ideas to senior management
-A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required (MBA strongly preferred)
-Must be a motivated and positive self-starter who is resourceful, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and works well with a team.
