Director - Business Development - Hitachi Solutions America - Denver


Job description
Hitachi Solutions is seeking a Director of Business Development (DBD) who will be a senior sales executive possessing excellent organizational, communication and selling skills. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of solution selling experience, and preferably at least 5 years in a direct sales role within the software industry. Alternatively, the successful candidate will have experience having made or contributed to the decision to acquire and implement a business software solution within their organization.

Responsibilities:
-Managing, leading and closing Hitachi opportunities within the Desert Mountain Region of the United States for Microsoft’s Dynamics ERP and CRM as well as Hitachi Solutions’ software.
-Developing the strategy to leverage Hitachi’s resources to add new customers in the region through new software and services sales.
-Engage with Microsoft Account teams to identify and drive Business Software opportunities across the Microsoft customer base.

-Contribute to the sales team by focusing on complex deals, including building relationships with Industry leaders within our target industries including Construction, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Retail and Oil & Gas. -Deliver total solutions to prospects and customers including Microsoft software, Hitachi proprietary software, partner solutions and Hitachi consulting services.
-Demonstrate a commitment to achieving overall revenue targets and solution positioning.

Desired Skills and Experience
-Excellent sales, communication, negotiation, problem solving and organizational skills
-Understanding of Hitachi’s strategic direction
-Ability to develop successful compete strategies, deliver effective presentations
-Ability to engage with a wide range of audiences from end user to senior management, and a thorough understanding of a customer sales cycle.

Key Requirements:
- BA Degree
- 5-7 yrs of business applications sales & deployment experience
- Proven skills in analysis, storytelling, presentation, demonstration, requirements mapping and collaboration
