Director - Business Architecture - Global Cloud - Ingram Micro - Santa Ana


Job description
Partners with Cloud Division leads to define and manage the operating model for Global Cloud and drive improvements across the Cloud Operating model in support of a high-functioning and efficient organization. Oversees the service disciplines for Global business architecture and business process improvements.
_Operating Model_
• Establish and maintain the organizing framework and meta-model for the operating model
Facilitate the development / population of the current operating model across all types (core, supporting, governing):

Define processes, value streams and operating model metadata
_Solution Development Service Ownership_
• Support the work intake process and delivery framework for Cloud to drive consistency in delivery approach and allow for flexible and right sized approaches for delivery through scope and assess and solution design work. Ensure collaboration and integration across the Cloud Divisions.
_Business Architecture service ownership_
• Translate Cloud strategy into a business model and ensure the capabilities needed are defined in an aligned and reusable way to maximize Cloud investment in change
• Define the framework and strategic capabilities needed to achieve target business model
• Ensures business impact analytics are in place to identify internal and external impacts of proposed initiatives; improve the effectiveness of implementation strategies and plans are established through the translation of tactical and strategic impacts within the context of the strategic business architecture
• Partner with Cloud Division leads and resources across the function to ensure comprehensive, high-quality solution development of all initiatives and roadmaps
• Partner with external analysts, consulting firms and industry stakeholders to understand the business architecture framework & best practices
• Build best practice framework, documentation and collaboration mechanisms business architecture
• Partner with Domain Leads and work intake leader to proactively manage the portfolio, identify risks and drive solution integration
• Own the tools and processes utilized by the business architects across drive improvements, adoption and adherence
• Partner with other service owners to drive a thoughtful and simple delivery framework and ensure alignment Business Process Improvement Service Ownership
• Lead the strategic development of future state business processes (modeling, analysis, and improvement) and business rules across the scope of identified critical initiatives
• Service delivery oversight for a team of modelers and analysts who work closely with business operations and other matrix partner to engineer business process descriptions that include process steps , business rules and key performance indicators
• Build best practice framework, documentation and collaboration mechanisms for all business process improvement resources throughout
• Coach, mentor, train and enable these business process practitioners

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
BS in Business Administration; Master in Business Administration,
Experience in broad, complex organizational operating model development and implementation
Experience in change leadership methodologies, tool and practices; preferably driving change discipline across multiple constituents and / or standing up the discipline within a highly matrixed environment
Experience with an operations discipline preferred (i.e., an understanding of how to deliver in a production- or service-based environment with a strong understanding of industry measures and demands)
Demonstrated passion around customer focus and improving processes that impact customer satisfaction
Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders
