Director - Analyst Relations - Cognizant Technology Solutions - Dallas
Job description
The Director, Analyst Relations will be responsible for managing analyst relations activities for the QE&A practice.
This position is based in North America, and will require 30-40% travel.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing strategic analyst relations plans to support Cognizant’s industry QE&A business unit objectives. This may be accomplished through the use of strategic consulting engagement, scheduled outreach to appropriate analysts, road shows, etc.
Building and nurturing relationships with Tier 1 and niche vertical analysts. This may involve planning strategic consulting engagements, quarterly outreach, invitations to Cognizant sponsored events, face-to-face meetings at Conferences/Symposiums.
Build internal consensus through briefings to QE&A.
Work with Gartner, Forrester, Everest, Nelson Hall and other analyst firms to influence and ensure Cognizant’s position as a premium QE&A services provider
Interact with clients to get their perception of industry trends and challenges
Drive internal and external workshops and advisory sessions on QE&A trends
Assist marketing team in their efforts
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
The ability to communicate effectively with analysts and management professionals both internal and external to Cognizant is required.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in industry analyst relations is required, and a focus on industry AR is strongly preferred.
Total of 12 + years’ experience in the public relations, marketing, communications or specific industry field.
AR experience with services, consulting and/or outsourcing firms is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required and an industry analyst relations certification is preferred
