Director - Publisher Partnerships - wochit - New York City

Job description
The Director of Publisher Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, connecting and growing partnerships across premium digital properties who are in need of creating custom Video inventory. This would include presenting Wochit's capabilities in person, phone, and screen share, and working internally with teams to help create long lasting use of Wochit's platform. We are looking for an extremely energetic and self determined individual who is able to drive the business on their own, while working as part of a team. This position is based in New York, New York and reports to the SVP of Partnerships.



Responsibilities include:
Identifying,in concert with the SVP, and building a list of publishers in need of Wochit's solution
Continuing to grow partnerships by way of meeting and introduction
Building a regular pipeline of activity and process of reporting internally
Work internally with Customer Success team to bring best practices across partnerships
Identify revenue upside based on partnership conversations and provide feedback to Wochit's Product team.
Represent Wochit at events
Working with the Product Team to implement technology required of new business relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience
No less than 6-8 years of experience in digital video.
Proven track record of both large Publisher and Partnership deal development.
Strong rolodex of companies publishing custom editorial
Analytical/strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
Excellent, collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills.
Dynamic individual who works well within corporate and creative environment.
Entrepreneurial spirit, hard-working and tenacious.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial analysis skills.
Journalism skills a plus
Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
A Bachelors’ degree required with an advanced degree
