Director - Inside Sales - Brinqa - Austin


Job description
Brinqa is searching for a bright Inside Sales Director to lead the inbound and outbound sales development teams towards rapid growth and success. This new position will have the opportunity to build, manage, and grow the inside sales organization responsible for driving sales opportunities through lead qualification, and outbound prospecting. Successful candidates will have business-to-business inside sales management experience in the SaaS, Software or Technology industry and will use their expertise to establish and execute inside sales best-practices and systems.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, selling over the phone, and interacting with prospective buyers at all levels within an organization. He or she will be a metrics-based manager, leveraging daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to track progress, provide coaching, and report performance. Experience successfully managing and growing a sales development team is a must. It’s also important that this candidate have extensive experience in using Salesforce. He or she will have a proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies, plans, new processes, systems and programs. Six months after successfully operating within the role, this individual will be known across the organization for accurately forecasting results and for their instrumental contribution to the dramatic revenue growth of the business.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and a sales plan which ensures consistent achievement of objectives over the short and long term
Develop and deploy best-in-class programs for reaching and penetrating target markets
Launch processes, tactics and materials necessary to accelerate customer acquisition
Establish and execute sales training and ongoing coaching programs
Motivate the team to reach peak performance levels
Implement a successful sales compensation plan
Develop key team and individual rep metrics as well as real-time performance and pacing reports
Report on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance, including measurement of team’s impact on revenue.
Participate in regular company and office meetings to share team/program progress, identify blockers and advance efforts

Desired Skills and Experience
Inside sales management expertise in the software or broader technology market
Proven history of leading teams that exceeded quota
Proven history of past metrics-based leadership
Detail-orientation, operational focus
Demonstrate past creative thinking methods in sales lead development
Must have a strong desire to work for a fast paced rapidly growing company that is creating a new market successfully
5+ years of experience with building, managing and guiding inside sales teams
10+ years of experience in sales functions
Proven history of establishing and executing an inside sales training program
Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills
Proven history of fostering a 'Hunter' mindset culture within the team
Ability to work in an open office environment
Ability to professionally provide and receive feedback
BA/BS degree required
