Director - Discovery - Redbox - Oakbrook Terrace

Summary:
You will oversee the management of all functional product design and requirements management efforts for a specific segment of the consumer journey (Discovery) across the Redbox line of business. Create and communicate a compelling vision for the Redbox consumer product experience, and ensure unified experience design across channels and touchpoints. Keep abreast of competitive offerings and technology trends within the industry and ensure that teams are implementing solution designs that are valuable, usable, and feasible, and that keep the Redbox product experience relevant in the eyes of the consumer. You also will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of Product Managers and User Experience Designers.


What you will be doing:
Act as company-wide domain expert in the consumer discovery journey, across all channels & touchpoints
Shepard and facilitate iterative, cross-functional product discovery that vets value, usability and feasibility of potential product solutions
Lead teams in the development of actionable artifacts (personas, journey maps, user scenarios, etc.), driven by research and data, that fuel a detailed understanding of the customer experience
Drive the effective capture and communication of product design requirements
Manage product development activities with technology partners. Oversee deliverable quality, product and technical process, as well as team integrations
Benchmark product capabilities; track and communicate key metrics for product design effectiveness
Lead a team to bring outstanding product offerings to market
Build, lead, and develop a world-class product team that obsesses about creating business value by designing and delivering products that make our customer’s lives better.
Develop high-potential team members as future business leaders for Redbox

Desired Skills and Experience
What you need to demonstrate:

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred
12+ years of technology-related product management/development experience
6+ years of team management experience
