Director - Coking Solutions - Foster Wheeler - Houston
Job description
This position is one of Foster Wheeler USA’s experts on Coking. He, or she, will act as a consultant to other Departments and provide technical leadership to the sales and marketing efforts for Foster Wheeler.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Works safely.
Helps manages FWUSA’s Delayed Coking technology.
Identifies the competitive position of FWUSA’s Coking technology and develops plans to improve its market position.
Provides consultation for Coking development programs.
Provides technical oversight and input to the sales and service processes for FWUSA’s Coking technology.
Helps leads the technical strategy for Coking proposals.
Supports marketing activities related to FWUSA licensed technologies, including development of marketing materials, identification of target audiences and participation in marketing campaigns.
Attends industry technology conferences and participates both as a delegate and as a presenter as deemed appropriate.
Coaches and mentors younger and less experienced engineers in other departments.
Develops industry wide process technology market data for FWUSA licensed technologies to ensure accurate and current knowledge of the market.

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Fifteen years of experience in the engineering, refining or petrochemicals industry. Significant Delayed Coking experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and perform close vision work (reading and computer usage). Employee will be required to travel domestically and internationally via airplane and automobile.
