Compliance Director - Reading Health System - Reading

Job description
The Reading Health System located in West Reading, PA, is seeking a Compliance Director to identify, prevent, and detect regulatory and compliance issues; complete tasks as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer; and to oversee the compliance activities within Reading Health Physician Network (comprised of The Reading Hospital Medical Group and Reading Professional Services). Ensure Reading Health Physician Network’s compliance program, policies and procedures are consistent with the Compliance Plan for Reading Health System and its related entities.



The Compliance Director shall be sufficiently independent in his or her position so as to protect against any conflicts of interest that may arise from performing assigned duties and compliance duties. The Compliance Director shall report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer of Reading Health System.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Compliance certification [or agree to obtain within one year of hire]
Experience managing healthcare compliance matters and in the oversight of certified coders
Experience with physician practice coding
Demonstrated effectiveness in operating and collaborating with others in a large organizational environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of individuals within the health system
Strong evidence of integrity, confidentiality and ethical behavior
